





**Description** We are looking for professionals to join the SIMEROS team as **Junior Engineer**. If you are driven by technical challenges, seek real impact, and want to contribute to a more sustainable energy future, join those who are revolutionizing offshore operations! **Responsibilities and duties** * Work within the project execution team in Engineering or the Materials Laboratory, which may involve innovation, improvement, or replication of technologies in products, processes, or applied engineering; * Develop, review, and document engineering projects, including: technical reports, design methodologies, technical drawings for representation and manufacturing, explanatory schematics, calculation memos, technical presentations, technical notes, and technical and scientific articles related to project activities; * Propose and implement engineering solutions that favor simplicity of execution and technological robustness, minimizing risks, costs, processes, and timelines, without compromising required reliability and safety; * Coordinate, when necessary, small work teams such as designers, drafters, technicians, and interns; * Prepare and/or review manuals, technical and operational procedures, as well as training courses for project activities, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements; * Lead or participate in systematic reviews of standards, technical specifications, scientific articles, or other relevant publications to support the theoretical and practical foundation of projects; * Generate performance indicators for supervisors or management teams regarding individual tasks, team performance, and/or executed projects; * Ensure activities comply with internal procedures, applicable standards, and/or best practices, maintaining required safety and quality levels; * Identify and report deviations, critical points, or risk issues to superiors, management, or clients—especially when affecting Safety, Quality, Financial, Schedule (in this exact order); * Coordinate or lead the development of technical specifications for procurement/contracting of materials, equipment, products, and services; * Interact with suppliers and partners to identify or develop viable project solutions, meeting technical, financial, and scheduling requirements; * Work within the team responsible for reviewing and conducting experimental validation or qualification tests; * Acquire, process, report, review, analyze, and issue technical assessments based on information obtained within their area of responsibility throughout the project; * Participate in technical project planning and actively collaborate in planning and detailing other stages such as prospecting, commercial, and execution phases; * Engage technically with project partners and clients, including proposing new projects, attending technical meetings, answering technical questions, detailing tasks, raising technical inquiries, etc.; * Propose and/or participate in the creation of intellectual property, as well as protect existing SIMEROS intellectual assets; * Perform onboard work on oil platforms; * Actively contribute to accident prevention and environmental protection, adhering to fundamental industrial safety and hygiene guidelines to safeguard personnel, equipment, industrial facilities, and the environment during operations or service execution within SIMEROS's areas of responsibility; * Support the Quality Management System to ensure its effectiveness by complying with applicable standards, work instructions, and procedures related to their activities; * Understand the company's quality policy, its objectives, and the implications of noncompliance with requirements; * Be familiar with the performance indicators of their department. **Requirements and qualifications** Bachelor’s degree completed in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
