This position will work closely with executive leadership and global teams, leading senior teams, developing new technical leadership, and strengthening a modern engineering culture focused on products, innovation, and high availability. Your challenge: To be responsible for leading, structuring, and evolving software engineering and SRE functions—ensuring delivered solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability, always aligned with the company’s strategic priorities. Key Responsibilities * Lead Software Engineering and SRE areas, ensuring integration, operational efficiency, and continuous evolution of the technology architecture * Plan, prioritize, and monitor the IT and SRE roadmap, aligning initiatives with business strategies * Act as a strategic partner to Product, Data, and Business teams, ensuring deliveries aligned with company needs * Manage multiple product squads, promoting Agile practices, DevOps culture, and value-driven delivery * Drive technology modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy environments to cloud * Develop and mentor technical leadership (team leads and specialists), strengthening soft skills and strategic vision * Manage capacity, productivity, budget (Capex/Opex), and Business Cases for the area * Define and track executive KPIs, ensuring visibility, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement * Deliver executive reports and actively manage risks, priorities, and dependencies * Represent the area in executive forums and interactions with global teams **Behavioral Competencies** * Clear and executive communication, with ability to navigate between technical and strategic contexts * Collaborative mindset, with capability to operate in dynamic and transformational environments * Strong ability to develop people and technical leadership * Systemic thinking, strategic mindset, and results orientation * Negotiation, conflict management, and decision-making capabilities * Comfort leading senior, hybrid, and remote teams **Qualifications** * Proven experience leading software engineering and SRE culture * Experience managing complex projects treated as products—not merely software factories * Experience with architecture modernization, including legacy/mainframe migration to cloud * Strong knowledge of cloud environments (AWS—experience with Azure or GCP is desirable) * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases * Practical knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript, or similar) * Experience in UNIX-based environments * Experience in financial management (Budget, Capex, Opex, Business Case) * Experience with Agile methodologies and management of mission-critical projects * Advanced English proficiency for interaction with global teams and stakeholders **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge of data engineering **Additional Information** Serasa Experian is much more than you imagine.
