BUDGET ANALYST

Description

Analyzes, executes, and monitors the budgeting process, ensuring that project feasibility studies are delivered on time and within budget to guarantee technical and financial viability. Compares budgeted costs with those of similar construction projects, identifying and justifying any deviations. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop parametric cost estimates for land acquisition studies and product validation for feasibility studies of new developments, supporting the use of coherent and up-to-date cost data based on our internal indicator database. * Analyze material quantity takeoffs and labor requirements for budget preparation. * Monitor the development of construction cost budgets, using material and labor quantity takeoffs as well as procurement department cost closures to support cost feasibility analyses. * Conduct comparative cost analyses between the prepared budget and budgets of similar ongoing projects or final costs of similar completed projects, investigating any discrepancies.
