Work preventively, curatively, and correctionally, maintaining interface with the interdisciplinary team to promote the health of patients undergoing antineoplastic treatment, in accordance with the COREN-COFEN Code of Ethics. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Implement institutional protocol-based measures for prevention of adverse events; * Participate in mandatory continuing education trainings, including institutional safety protocol trainings; * Prepare and administer medications classified as premedication and supportive therapy, per medical prescription, ensuring safe care free from harm to the oncology patient, monitoring possible adverse reactions, and promptly reporting them to immediate leadership, following recommendations outlined in the Safe Medication Administration Protocol; * Provide general support to clinical and organizational activities within the department, complying with instructions, standards, routines, protocols, procedures, and deadlines established for assigned tasks; * Provide comprehensive patient care, performing direct care activities related to: body, oral, and intimate hygiene; vital signs measurement; peripheral venous puncture; nebulization; intravenous therapy; pre-chemotherapy and supportive medications; repositioning in bed; intra-hospital transport assistance; activation of rapid response teams; assistance with assisted oral feeding; device care; participation in urgent and emergency care; * Maintain, preserve, and control equipment, instruments, facilities, supplies, and medications available for beneficiary care, and report maintenance needs to competent and responsible departments via service requests and work orders; * Carry out nursing interventions prescribed by the nurse in the SAE (Nursing Care Systematization) on Tasy, reporting all difficulties and doubts to immediate leadership and accurately informing about all signs and symptoms indicating possible clinical deterioration of the patient; * Accurately complete nursing and institutional service forms—documents aimed at organizing and restocking departmental supplies, monitoring ambient temperature and thermal box and emergency trolley temperatures; * Perform daily nursing documentation for oncology patients, ensuring quality of the patient’s electronic medical record, assertive communication, and information security; * Control and requisition clean CME (Central Material Supply Department) materials, as well as safely forward contaminated CME materials according to institution-defined schedules; * Assist oncology patients during premedication infusion and chemotherapy infusion, measuring vital signs before, during, and upon completion of chemotherapy—or as prescribed in SAE—and reporting any abnormalities to the nurse; * Systematically monitor and prevent physical harm to patients during healthcare delivery, assisting with mobility and ensuring safe, harm-free transport using necessary medical-hospital supplies (e.g., rose chair); * Assist/act in situations classified as urgencies and emergencies—for example: (adverse drug reaction, acute infusion reaction, chemotherapy extravasation or spillage, procedural complications, cardiorespiratory arrests)—in accordance with institutional standards, routines, procedures, and protocols; * Comply with the PGRSS (Healthcare Waste Management Program), per institutional policy and current legislation; * Accompany the nurse in identifying and signaling individualized patient care risks through the Patient Identification and Risk Signaling Board, implementing all nursing care per SAE to ensure patient safety and quality of care; * Report incidents in the Qualiex system and adopt preventive, treatment, and damage mitigation measures together with the nurse and medical team whenever necessary; * Daily verify patient devices regarding puncture date, replacement date, cleaning date, presence of logistical signs, and communicate findings to the nurse; * Assist in triaging oncology patients admitted to and treated in the Oncology Department; * Provide agile and efficient care to oncology patients, minimizing waiting time; * Maintain up-to-date technical and scientific knowledge in individual, collective, and environmental biosafety, enabling effective professional performance in routine and emergency situations, aiming to interrupt and/or prevent accidents or occurrences that may cause physical and/or environmental harm; * Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as data compilation into spreadsheets, during critical periods—for example, pandemics; * Act in accordance with the Unit’s Internal Regulations. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical Nursing Degree with active COREN registration * Experience in clinical care * Familiarity with Tasy system preferred **Additional Information** * **Working Hours:** 12x36 shift schedule – Off-day worker (full availability required) * **Work Location:** Santos Dumont Hospital Litoral Norte (**Address:** Av.
