Ensure scalable, secure, and governable solutions **What We’re Looking For** A professional to serve as an **AI and Agent Architect (Software 3.0)**, responsible for designing **AI and agentic systems** to be used by product and engineering teams, always aligned with the company’s technology platform standards. This person will be the technical reference for structural decisions, standard definition, and squad acceleration, ensuring solutions are **scalable, secure, governable, and business-connected**. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, defining clear directions, balancing innovation with pragmatism, and building solid, efficient technological foundations. **Hybrid position: 3 days per week at Vila Olimpia/SP** **Responsibilities** * Serve as guardian of strategic platforms and long-term architectural vision; * Define, together with teams, standards, references, and guardrails (APIs, integrations, NFRs such as security, observability, reliability, and cost); * Lead Architecture Reviews, guiding teams without generating excessive bureaucracy; * Interface with business domain leaders to align strategy and investments; * Design agent architectures, including orchestration, memory stores, tools, planners, and control plane; * Structure end-to-end LLMOps (model selection, RAG, fine-tuning when needed, evals, monitoring, fallback, and safety); * Translate business problems into viable agentic architectures, with clarity on latency, cost, and quality; * Anticipate risks such as hallucination, drift, data leakage, and compliance issues, defining measurable mitigations; * Drive trade-offs between performance and cost, speed and governance, autonomy and compliance; * Produce robust ADRs and clear architectural roadmaps, with phases, risks, and exit criteria; * Measure impact using platform and AI metrics (adoption, reliability, unit cost, latency, quality/evals); **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience in software engineering and/or architecture, leading end-to-end design of complex systems; * Proficiency in distributed architecture (microservices, events/messaging, APIs); * Practical experience with cloud in production (Azure, AWS, or GCP); * Hands-on experience with LLMs (open-source and/or proprietary) and agentic applications in real-world scenarios; * Experience with LLMOps and Evals (observability, quality testing, guardrails, and fallback); * Ability to produce ADRs, standardize architectural decisions, and navigate technical conflicts across teams; * Skill to communicate architecture to executive leadership and say “no” when necessary, offering viable technical alternatives; **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience building corporate platforms and/or internal frameworks (SDKs, templates, blueprints); * Strong expertise in advanced RAG, memory, tooling/orchestration, and quality evaluators (offline and online); * Ability to switch between rapid PoCs and scalable architectures while maintaining pragmatism; * Experience handling significant failures and incidents, converting learnings into practical guardrails; * Knowledge in: * **Data Science – LLMs (Large Language Models);** * **Microsoft Azure – AI;** * **Amazon Web Services – AI;** **Behavioral Profile:** ================================= We seek a person who: * Enjoys teamwork and is **collaborative** in their responsibilities; * Has the **courage** to challenge themselves and go beyond, embracing new growth opportunities; * Transforms ideas into **creative solutions** and pursues quality in all daily activities; * Possesses strong **problem-solving skills**; * Is capable and comfortable working independently and **managing their own time**; * Is interested in tackling adverse and **innovative** technological situations.
