Then this position is definitely for ***YOU!*** ***Join our team and embark on the*** **future of work** with us! **Responsibilities and Duties** The **CNC Lathe Operator “D” I** will be responsible for: * Operating CNC lathes, following work instructions, drawings, production orders, required tools, starting the machine, clamping parts in the chuck, activating commands to begin the process, monitoring and verifying operation and/or need for insert/tool replacement, removing machined parts, applying oil if necessary, storing and making parts available for the next process — all to ensure machining process quality, meet production scheduling, and prevent material damage. * Inspecting produced parts visually, measuring them, checking against drawings, recording information on specific forms, and reporting discrepancies to the Quality Department — all to ensure part quality and compliance with required specifications. * Verifying part dimensions per drawing instructions and established measurement tolerances, aiming to ensure accuracy of machined parts. * Inspecting the machine visually for oil levels, leaks, anomalies, and reporting any identified issues to the Maintenance Department — all to ensure machining process quality. * Checking tool life per information displayed on the machine panel or based on part surface finish quality, replacing tools when necessary — all to meet customer requirements and ensure machined part quality. * Recording production data in designated tracking systems per defined operational procedures. * Reporting operational progress during shift handovers — all to support productive flow and achievement of established goals. * Disposing surplus materials and other operation-related waste at designated locations per established procedures. * Keeping immediate supervisors informed about activity progress and difficulties encountered — enabling timely decision-making and necessary actions. * Maintaining physical and electronic documents and records updated and organized per established procedures. * Keeping the workplace, machines, and/or equipment clean and organized. * Complying with company, quality, and occupational safety standards and procedures. * Performing additional duties of similar nature and complexity as assigned to the role, respecting occupational safety and quality standards and observing scope of responsibility per departmental needs and/or supervisor’s instructions. **Requirements and Qualifications** To become a **CNC Lathe Operator “D” I**, you must: **Required Technical Knowledge:** * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Metrology * Company standards and procedures * CNC lathe operation **Recommended:** * Machine and equipment lubrication * Relevant Regulatory Norms (NRs) applicable to job activities * Production Tracking and Control System – (PCFactory) **Required Education/Qualification:** * Completed elementary education \+ specialized training in CNC lathe operation or equivalent from a technical school **Additional Information** Our benefits **value** our team, so we offer: **On-site Meal:** meals prepared and served within the company premises; **Transportation Allowance:** credited to a public transportation card; **Meal Voucher:** equivalent to a basic food basket, accepted at supermarkets, grocery stores, butcher shops, etc.; **Group Life Insurance:** for indemnity in case of incidents; **This is how we fulfill our purpose of***CONNECTING*** you to the great opportunity awaiting you!
