This involves waste removal, surface cleaning, changing sheets and towels, and using appropriate disinfectants. * Stock control: The professional may be responsible for monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, such as chemicals, toilet paper, soaps, and other materials necessary for maintaining hygiene in the clinic. * Infection prevention: The professional must be aware of infection prevention practices and follow appropriate procedures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. This may include using specific cleaning techniques, such as terminal cleaning, which aims for complete environmental disinfection.
