Transportation Supervisor
Description:
* Technical or higher education degree in Logistics, Administration, or related fields is desirable.
* Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
* Experience leading operational teams (drivers, assistants, or similar roles).
* Knowledge of route planning, fleet scheduling, and KPI monitoring.
* Basic understanding of preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance.
* Knowledge of working hour control and transportation legislation.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
* Experience in agricultural/industrial road transportation.
* Driver’s license category D or E.
* Leadership, team management, or transportation safety courses will be considered as advantages.
* Supervise daily transportation operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, on-time delivery, and service quality.
* Plan and coordinate routes, shifts, working hours, and fleet scheduling according to demand and contractual requirements.
* Monitor operational and fleet performance indicators, analyze deviations, and implement continuous improvements.
* Manage the corporate fleet, assuming full responsibility for buses, freight trucks, light vehicles, muck trucks, and cranes—ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, tracking, equipment availability, and safety.
* Lead teams of drivers, assistants, and administrative staff, overseeing working hours, productivity, training, and development.
* Control operational costs, productivity, and results (budget vs. costs vs. targets).
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, transportation legislation, labor regulations, and internal company policies.
* Address operational problems, provide field team support, and align activities.
Prepare performance reports, monitor KPIs, and propose continuous process improvements.
