Job Summary: The Materials Controller is responsible for receiving, storing, sorting, and moving materials while maintaining physical and systemic inventory control. Key Highlights: 1. A. Perform inventory verification through the system and physical sorting of materials; B. Apply basic Lean and logistics concepts relevant to the area; C. Assist with and perform truck loading/unloading, occasionally using a forklift; D. Receive, execute, and physically verify part transfers; E. Understand and follow the Material Movement Flow; F. Perform necessary system movements (Scrap, WOC, SPLIT, MERGE, SUBTRANSFER); G. Manage physical and systemic inventory inflows and outflows; H. Maintain continuous balance control; I. Comply with quality system requirements for handling, movement, packaging, and storage. J. Perform varied yet routine tasks requiring adherence to well-defined procedures and standards. Problems encountered are resolved based on prior experience. K. Receive supervision while demonstrating initiative to enable routine decision-making. L. Conduct periodic inventory counts to maintain balance accuracy. M. Ensure proper custody, organization, and preservation of handled materials. **Qualifications:** ------------------ **Mandatory:** * Completed High School education * Availability to work during administrative hours, or during other shifts (1st or 2nd) as required * Minimum 3 months of experience in logistics, receiving, and shipping activities **Desirable:** * Basic computer skills * Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks * Forklift certification * Driver’s License Class B **Competencies:** * Quality, Productivity, Attendance, Safety, Creativity, Job Knowledge, Interpersonal Skills, Flexibility, Organization, Commitment, Initiative, Professionalism.
