We are seeking a professional to act as guardian of the company’s financial planning and performance, ensuring consistent analyses, accurate forecasts, and strategic information to support senior management decision-making. This role will be central to results consolidation, scenario building, and short-, medium-, and long-term financial guidance—translating data into business insights and value-driven strategies. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Act as guardian of the organization's financial integrity and efficiency, ensuring information reliability and adherence to corporate policies; * Promote a culture of governance, transparency, and control by critically auditing financial, tax, and accounting results and processes, and supporting senior management’s strategic decision-making; * Ensure integrity, consistency, and timeliness of accounting, tax, financial, and operational performance information; * Consolidate financial and operational results, ensuring coherence across different data sources and departments; * Independently and critically review accounting, tax, and FP\&A closings, validating journal entries, provisions, assumptions, and revenue recognition criteria; * Conduct periodic internal audits of financial, tax, and operational processes, identifying risks and opportunities and proposing action plans; * Develop and monitor internal policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with legislation, accounting standards, and corporate policies; * Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking process, ensuring consistency between planning and execution; * Support the Executive Board and CFO in profitability analysis per business unit, cost and margin analysis, and feasibility assessment of new projects and investments; * Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, and coordinate relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies; * Develop financial performance reports and dashboards, monitoring critical KPIs and directing corrective actions when necessary; * Lead continuous improvement and process automation initiatives within the controller function, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of information; * Advise the Executive Board on strategic decisions related to capital structure, costs, pricing, risks, and financial sustainability; * Promote a culture of governance, integrity, and accountability across all areas under audit and influence. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We expect you to have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering; * Active CRC (Regional Accounting Council) registration and postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controlling, Governance, or Auditing; * Proven experience in controlling, internal auditing, and financial management at large enterprises; * Proficiency in IFRS, CPCs, and control frameworks (COSO, SOX, etc.); * Strong expertise in financial modeling, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and BI tools; * Advanced English proficiency. **Preferred qualifications include:** * Experience in foreign-capital companies, Big Four auditing firms, or regulated sectors (energy, infrastructure, industrial); * Experience implementing or reviewing integrated management systems (ERP, BI, EPM); * Experience in due diligence, M\&A, and business integration processes. **Additional Information** **What to expect from this experience?** * Competitive market-based remuneration; * Flexible card for meal or food allowance; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Birthday day off; * Life insurance; * Flexible working hours; * Wellhub and Totalpass; * Partnerships with SESI and SENAI; * Childcare assistance; * Partnerships with educational institutions; * Professional development opportunities; * Pet-friendly office; * Relaxed work environment. **Join the Brasol team!** We grow together because we think and work for shared success.
