The Loading Assistant is responsible for supporting loading, unloading, material handling, and organization activities, contributing to the efficient flow of the company’s logistics and production operations. Agility, teamwork, and commitment to the company’s safety regulations and operational procedures are also essential. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform Take5 * Clean warehouse storage areas; * Maintain a clean and organized loading area; * Verify with the Supervisor/Deputy Supervisor which product is to be loaded (product/batch/location); * Direct the driver to the designated loading dock. * Request the trailer key from the driver and store it in a locked box; chock the trailer wheels with appropriate wheel chocks; * Conduct product verification at the time of loading. * Inspect vehicle conditions prior to loading; checklists; * Load the vehicle according to the loading order provided by the Supervisor/Deputy Supervisor (or designated person); * Open the vehicle; * Clean the vehicle (when necessary); * Line the vehicle floor with tarpaulin for non-palletized loads; * Identify the material to be loaded according to the loading order, which contains batch and material type information; * Record the batch number and big bag/pallet number on the product release form for loading; * Attach the big bag handle to the forklift mast using a wooden or metal aid; * Replace damaged packaging (sacks); * Wrap pallets with stretch film (when necessary); * Load the vehicle; * Close the vehicle after loading completion. * Secure the load with tie-downs. * Cover the load with tarpaulin. * Collect the driver’s signature upon loading completion on the Load Verification Checklist. * Remove wheel chocks and return the key to the driver for release; * Perform other related duties as assigned by the organizational unit and nature of work, per superior guidance. * Strictly comply with safety, health, and environmental norms and policies, proactively identifying and reporting unsafe conditions to ensure corrective actions are implemented before injuries or accidents occur.
