**What we are looking for:** ------------------- A **PL/SR-level** professional experienced in **Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2)**. Will work on key projects in the **financial sector**, contributing to the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical systems. **Requirements and qualifications:** ------------------------------- * Solid experience in Mainframe development using **COBOL, CICS, and DB2**; * Experience in medium- and large-scale projects, preferably within the **financial market**; * Knowledge of **unit and integration testing**, as well as application deployment support; * Experience with **Agile methodologies (Scrum)** and tools such as **Jira and Confluence**; * Familiarity with **DevOps practices**, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD); * Experience with **JCL, Control Languages, and Host environments**; * Knowledge of analysis, development, and maintenance of legacy systems; * Experience identifying and resolving issues related to application **performance and availability**. **Responsibilities:** --------------- * Perform analysis, development, and maintenance of Mainframe systems; * Support implementation activities, maintenance, and business area support; * Identify and resolve issues related to performance, availability, and reliability; * Participate in medium- and large-scale projects, ensuring quality and adherence to requirements; * Design and execute unit and integration tests; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. **Nice-to-have:** ----------------- * Experience in Mainframe environment **performance optimization (tuning)**; * Knowledge of **architecture and integration** between legacy and distributed systems; * Experience in **Mainframe modernization initiatives**; * Experience with monitoring and environment management tools; * Strong communication and negotiation skills with both technical and business areas. **Behavioral profile:** ----------------------------- We are looking for someone who: * Is **analytical, organized, and autonomous**; * Enjoys teamwork and is **collaborative**; * Adapts easily to **multidisciplinary environments**; * Possesses strong **problem-solving skills**; * Is **proactive**, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement; * Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
