**Chemical Plant Operator** **Job Objective:** Safely and efficiently operate the chemical plant, ensuring proper unloading of chemical products, operation of process systems, and strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Unload chemical products arriving via tank trucks, trailers, or industrial packaging (ISO containers), following operational procedures and safety regulations; * Operate plant process systems, including pumps, valves, piping, tanks, filters, dosing systems, and other industrial equipment; * Monitor operational parameters (pressure, flow rate, level, temperature, among others), reporting deviations when identified; * Perform start-up, shutdown, and monitoring routines for operational systems; * Identify and report failures, leaks, or unsafe conditions; * Conduct basic equipment inspections and support maintenance activities as needed; * Strictly comply with occupational safety standards, use of PPE, environmental procedures, and good operational practices; * Complete operational records, checklists, and routine reports. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Proven experience in chemical product unloading within an industrial environment; * Experience operating industrial or chemical systems; * Knowledge of safety practices for handling chemical products; * Ability to follow operational procedures and technical instructions; * Availability for on-site work during business hours. **Desirable Requirements (Advantages):** * Technical education in Chemistry, Industrial Processes, Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related fields; * Prior experience in chemical plants, treatment stations, or continuous-process industries. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Attention to detail and focus on safety; * Operational organization and discipline; * Proactivity and sense of responsibility; * Teamwork ability; * Good communication skills. **Compensation:** Salary commensurate with the position, plus hazard pay as stipulated by current legislation.
