Technical Delivery Specialist
This role is responsible for completing the sales process by delivering the new motorcycle to the customer and ensuring the customer is fully oriented regarding the use and care of the new vehicle. This position is critical to customer satisfaction and to safe motorcycle operation. Key responsibilities include: Conducting a comprehensive inspection of the motorcycle prior to delivery, verifying items such as the engine, brakes, suspension, electrical system, tire pressure, and all safety components; Ensuring the motorcycle is in perfect working condition and complies with manufacturer specifications; Checking all motorcycle documentation—including the owner’s manual, warranty certificate, invoices—and confirming that all documents are complete and compliant for delivery; Guiding the customer on required documents for vehicle registration and license plate issuance; Explaining to the customer the motorcycle’s features and specifications—such as fuel tank capacity, engine power, technologies, and model-specific functions; Demonstrating the operation of controls—including ignition, lights, instrument panel, brakes, transmission, and other features—in detail to ensure the customer fully understands their usage; Advising the customer on the engine break-in period, specifying precautions for initial mileage—such as avoiding high RPMs and warming up the engine before riding; Providing information about the first service, preventive maintenance schedules, and deadlines for subsequent services; Clarifying warranty terms—including covered items and practices or damages that may void the warranty; Explaining the importance of preventive maintenance and how to follow Honda’s recommended schedule to maintain warranty validity and extend motorcycle lifespan; Being available to answer any customer questions and offering additional guidance to ensure the customer feels comfortable and confident when beginning to ride the motorcycle; Advising on dealership contact information for future inquiries, services, and after-sales support.
