São Paulo, SP Senior About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and evolve scalable APIs and services, with a focus on quality, observability, and performance. This person will play a strategic role in the team, supporting architectural decisions, elevating technical standards, and actively contributing to solution maturity and team growth. Responsibilities: ✔ Design, develop, and maintain APIs and services using Python, Go, and Node.js ✔ Define, implement, and promote best practices in software architecture and engineering ✔ Focus heavily on observability (structured logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and actionable alerts) ✔ Ensure quality through automated testing (unit, integration, and contract tests), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines ✔ Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements in performance, latency, and resource utilization ✔ Provide technical leadership to the team—mentoring engineers, supporting technical decisions, and raising delivery standards Requirements: ✔ Solid experience as a Senior Backend Developer in production environments ✔ Proficiency in Python and practical experience with Go and Node.js, capable of working across multiple tech stacks ✔ Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code practices ✔ Strong foundation in distributed systems, concurrency, idempotency, retries, circuit breakers, and rate limiting ✔ Experience with CI/CD and containerized deployments (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus) ✔ Adherence to best practices in version control, code review, and technical documentation Nice-to-Haves: ➕ Experience in high-scale, high-availability environments ➕ Prior work with event-driven architectures ➕ In-depth knowledge of observability and advanced monitoring ➕ Experience leading technical teams or complex initiatives Work Model: Hybrid, with 2 days per week onsite at the office.
