The intern will also provide support and perform maintenance on the systems used by the company, contributing to the smooth operation of business activities. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in one of the following programs: Information Systems; Systems Analysis and Development; Computer Science; Computer Engineering; Software Engineering; Computer Networks; Information Technology Management; Information Technology. Desired Technical Skills: Basic IT knowledge; computerized systems; user support; Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new systems; system maintenance; fundamental networking concepts. Desired Behavioral Skills: The company seeks an Information Technology intern who is curious, proactive, and communicative, with a strong interest in learning and developing within the field. The candidate should demonstrate organizational skills; teamwork; responsibility; initiative; and good interpersonal relationships. Workload: 20 hours per week: 4 hours per day. Works alongside Cable Technicians or Telecommunications Technicians, assisting in material preparation and organization, cable routing, infrastructure organization, and performing basic tests. * Assist in routing cables or optical fiber in internal, underground, and aerial networks (on poles and building facades); * Support identification, separation, cleaning, and preparation of cables for splicing or connectorization; * Assist in installing equipment and accessories such as optical termination boxes (OTB), splice closures, outlets, and mounting frames; * Perform simple infrastructure mounting tasks; * Conduct visual inspections and basic continuity or connectivity tests using manual tools or basic instruments; * Verify signal points and report faults to the responsible technician; * Maintain cable organization and aesthetics by performing cable bundling and labeling according to network standards; * Carry and organize materials, tools, and equipment for on-site use; * Assist in assembling ladders, scaffolds, and isolating hazardous areas in accordance with safety regulations; * Support completion of checklists or work orders per technical team instructions; * Maintain communication with the responsible technician and execute instructions accurately and safely.
