Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools **Job Description: Automotive Mechanic – Dealership** We are looking for an **Automotive Mechanic** to work at a vehicle dealership, responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance services, ensuring the technical quality of repairs and customer satisfaction. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics on vehicles; * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, braking systems, suspension, transmission, and other automotive components; * Conduct periodic inspections according to manufacturer standards and procedures; * Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to identify faults; * Record performed services and technical notes in service orders; * Maintain workplace organization and ensure proper use of tools and equipment; * Follow safety, quality, and internal dealership procedures. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Prior experience as an automotive mechanic; * Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and maintenance; * Technical courses in the automotive field will be considered as advantages; * Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented. **Advantages:** * Experience working at a vehicle dealership; * Knowledge of electronic diagnostics; * Specialized courses or technical certifications in the automotive field.
