About the role: Alcoa is seeking a Mechanical D (Affirmative Position for Women) to join our team at the Alumar Reduction unit in São Luís do Maranhão. The main responsibilities of the role include:* Knowledge of machine elements, lubricants, lubrication systems, welding and cutting; * Selecting materials, tools and measuring instruments, welding and control devices necessary to perform tasks; * Reading, interpreting and identifying parts and drawings in equipment catalogs and reading and interpreting hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, performing repairs on parts and/or components; * Performing mechanical maintenance on machines, equipment and installations, hydraulic and pneumatic components, repairing or replacing parts, making adjustments, alignments and lubrication; * Properly using measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, tape measure, dial indicator, laser alignment tool, etc.); * Knowing and interpreting hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, performing diagnostics and corrections on equipment; * Preparing monitoring and control reports.
