Junior Workplace Safety Technician

Description: Requirements and qualifications: What we expect from you: * Technical degree in Occupational Safety; * Valid Class B Driver's License; * Experience in the electrical sector is desirable; * Technical training in Electrotechnics or Civil Firefighter will be an advantage; * Intermediate/advanced Office Suite skills; * Basic Power BI knowledge will be an advantage; * Commitment to results; * Teamwork; * Customer orientation. Our Work Safety Management department aims to strengthen the safety management model, acting preventively to eliminate, minimize, and control significant risks to employees' physical integrity. For this, we rely on well-defined processes and guiding goals. And you can be part of this team as a Junior Workplace Safety Technician. In this role, you will work at Equatorial Goiás' unit in Firminópolis, being responsible for managing occupational safety processes in the regional area. Your responsibilities will include: * Conducting safety integration for new employees; * Evaluating safety documentation from service provider companies; * Inspecting work activities and their performers at job sites, identifying hazardous conditions, taking all necessary actions to eliminate risk situations, as well as training and raising employee awareness about safe work behaviors; * Guiding workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection equipment, as well as indicating and inspecting fire protection equipment when required by conditions, aiming to reduce risks to worker safety and physical integrity; * Collaborating in projects involving building modifications or new company installations to promote safer working conditions; * Promoting campaigns, lectures, and other forms of guidance to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene regulations, as well as to inform and raise awareness among workers about unhealthy, hazardous, and arduous activities; * Distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as indicating and inspecting fire protection equipment when required by conditions, aiming to reduce risks to worker safety and physical integrity; * Supporting SIPAT by organizing necessary activities and resources; * Investigating workplace accidents and preparing accident reports; * Identifying activity risks and recording them so that engineers can recommend mitigation measures. Conducting inspections/follow-ups with teams and facilities, auditing/supervising/guiding compliance with technical and legal safety requirements, PPEs, tools, equipment, and environmental safety conditions; * Delivering lectures and monitoring training related to prevention of personal losses (injuries and illnesses), material damage, and environmental impacts; * Monitoring the development of accident and occupational health damage prevention programs (PGR, PCMAT, PCA, others), periodically tracking preventive actions/measures, developing emergency response plans, guiding fire brigade members, and participating in emergency drills; * Assisting CIPA with its routine obligations and keeping records updated as required by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. 2511210202471882058
