For our internal customers, building Cloud Services on the OUTSCALE Platform automatically ensures adoption of these pillars and enables deployment of solutions worldwide across all supported IaaS providers without requiring adaptation. Within OUTSCALE.Platform, you will join the Service Controller team, responsible for orchestrating the deployment of Dassault Systèmes’ online (Cloud) services. Your mission will be to participate in the specification and development of new Service Controller features. You will focus specifically on topics related to service security. The objective is to enable adoption of best-in-class cybersecurity patterns across Dassault Systèmes’ Cloud services. You will work closely with development teams, Ops teams, and cybersecurity teams. To support strong growth, we are recruiting a Kubernetes Development Engineer. **Permanent position based near Paris, in Vélizy-Villacoublay (78\).** **Your responsibilities:** Within Dassault Systèmes R\&D, in the OUTSCALE Platform division and the Service Build team responsible for developing containerized service infrastructure, your main responsibilities will include: * Participating in the development of service deployment definitions for Dassault Systèmes services within the Kubernetes orchestrator. * Integrating this solution into Dassault Systèmes’ PaaS to make it available to service developers and evangelizing it across the ecosystem. * Analyzing enhancement requests, specifying, implementing, testing, and supporting production rollout of developed features (technologies: Java, REST web services, Helm, Kubernetes). You will work closely with service developers and production teams. **Your qualifications** You hold an advanced degree (Master’s level or equivalent), such as an Engineering or University degree, and possess significant development experience (proficiency in Java) with at least two years of development experience. Experience in distributed programming is required. * Programming languages: Java, Linux, Go. * Templating: knowledge of Helm charts is highly desirable. * Microservices: architecture, Docker, Kubernetes. * Libraries: prior experience creating REST services. * Desirable experience: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, virtualization. Beyond these technical skills, you demonstrate curiosity and a strong interest in these emerging technologies and distributed algorithms.
