We seek someone who goes beyond implementation: thinking about architecture, performance, security, observability, and code quality — always with a product-oriented mindset. * Develop and maintain high-performance and scalable back\-end APIs and services. * Design and evolve service architectures, ensuring sound engineering practices. * Write clean, testable, and easily maintainable code. * Implement and maintain unit and integration tests. * Collaborate closely with front\-end, product, and other technical teams. * Ensure security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection). * Analyze and optimize API and database query performance. * Actively participate in code reviews focused on quality and security. * Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues. **Required Qualifications** * Solid back\-end development experience. * Strong experience with Java/Kotlin \+ Spring Boot. * Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or similar. * Experience developing REST (and/or GraphQL) APIs. * Advanced knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. * Experience with version control (Git). * Experience with unit and integration testing. * Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, or similar). * Understanding of software architecture concepts (layers, services, SOLID). * Familiarity with secure development practices (SDL, OWASP). **Nice-to-Have Qualifications (not required but valued)** * Knowledge of microservices. * Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB). * Knowledge of observability (logs, metrics, tracing). * Familiarity with CI/CD and automated pipelines. * Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Basic understanding of the OWASP Top 10 applied to back\-end. * Front\-end experience with Next.js or React Native with Expo. **What We Value** * Ability to think like an engineer, not just a task executor. * Autonomy, accountability, and commitment to delivery. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Critical perspective on security, performance, and quality. * Genuine interest in learning and advancing technically.
