




**Description** The **Masterbatch Operator** is the professional responsible for executing the entire masterbatch production cycle, ensuring mixing, extrusion, color quality control, and accurate recording of production data. This role requires strict **material verification**, knowledge of **twin-screw mixer and extruder operation**, and proficiency in **formulation adjustments** and use of measurement equipment (spectrophotometer), always adhering to safety procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** Verify materials according to product type and quantity specified in the production order; Operate mixers following mixing and safety procedures; Feed and operate twin-screw extruders according to operating and safety procedures; Perform extrusion and prepare test specimens for color evaluation using a spectrophotometer; Carry out formulation adjustments when necessary, with support from the Colorist or Quality Department; Package, palletize, and identify materials; Record production parameters on the production order; Perform setup during color and material changes, both on the mixer and extruder as well as peripheral equipment; Enter production orders, non-productive hours, losses, and identification label creation into the Protheus system; Record production data—related to the production order—in spreadsheets; Maintain sector organization and cleanliness, applying the 5S methodology and continuous improvement principles; Desired: experience operating extrusion machines, knowledge of colorimetry and spectrophotometry, absence of color blindness, and ease with mathematical operations and percentages. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed high school education; Prior experience operating extruders and producing masterbatches, knowledge of colorimetry and spectrophotometry, absence of color blindness, and ease with mathematical operations and percentages. **Availability to work from** 7:30 AM to 4:18 PM Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
