For more information, visit Worley.com We are seeking a **Senior Structural Engineer:** **Requirements**: • Generally, as part of responsibilities, possess knowledge of preparing technical documentation through application of fundamental engineering theories, techniques, and practices. Familiar with relevant standards, regulations, building codes, manufacturing standards, and standard design practices for control and development; • Experience in Civil Engineering within the mining sector, including multidisciplinary projects, reinforced concrete structural design, steel structural design, structural design of reinforced concrete, and quantity take-offs; • Preliminary and/or detailed structural design of reinforced concrete structures, reinforcement calculation, quantity take-offs, sketch preparation, assembly of calculation memos, compilation of quantity schedules, oversight of formwork, reinforcement, anchor bolt, and insert drawings, and 3D modeling; • English (speaking, writing, and comprehension); • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to navigate intranet pages, conduct searches, and synthesize information. Organize information from multiple sources according to prescribed formats and policies; • Proficiency in structural analysis/design software such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, TQS, Robot, etc. **Responsibilities:** * Recommend and prepare final documentation. * Identify technical issues, develop alternative solutions, evaluate pros/cons of various options, and make recommendations via official project documents such as technical queries and technical deviations. * Create final documentation incorporating all relevant information and obtain client approval. * May review similar documentation to assist others and review/authorize work performed by the team; * Develop project criteria, technical specifications and/or service specifications, descriptive memoranda for reinforced concrete structures, and support the discipline supervisor. * Support site requirements in the role of ATO (Site Technical Support).
