Job Summary: Responsible for the collection, treatment, and processing of recyclable, common, organic, infectious, and chemical waste, while maintaining cleanliness in storage areas. Maintenance of cleanliness and organization in waste areas **Job Description** --------------------- * Responsible for collecting and treating recyclable, common, organic, infectious, and chemical waste generated in the clinical and administrative areas of Associação Hospitalar Moinhos de Vento, as well as cleaning waste carts and storage and treatment areas—including associated tools—to comply with RDC 306 and the PGRSS (Healthcare Service Waste Management Plan). **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- * Collect waste from utility rooms in clinical and administrative areas using collection carts (approximately 70kg to 100kg) to prevent waste accumulation in the environment. * Weigh waste upon arrival at waste storage and treatment units, entering data into the waste weight tracking system for waste generated in various areas, and also weigh processed materials upon departure. * Sort recyclable waste and process it in dedicated shredders to reduce volume and accumulation in waste storage and treatment units. * Collect organic waste generated in Food Production—originating from pre- and post-food preparation—and process it in composting equipment to convert it into organic fertilizer. * Process infectious waste in waste sterilization equipment (autoclave), and after successful decontamination, shred it in dedicated equipment to reduce microbial load and volume of infectious waste. * Sinter shredded waste in dedicated equipment to compact it. * Package and label post-treatment waste in designated locations to organize space and expedite external collection logistics. * Ensure organization and cleanliness of waste storage and treatment units, performing general cleaning every two weeks and daily cleaning of carts and the environment, so that waste collection, treatment, and packaging logistics meet institutional standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ * Completed Elementary Education (Diploma submission mandatory). * Schedule: 1:00 PM to 9:20 PM, rotating shift 6x1\.
