




Description: * Primary education completed; * Experience in the food industry — wholesale, hypermarkets, supermarkets, butcher shops, etc. — will be considered an advantage; * Knowledge of meats: Types of cuts — ability to identify and perform different meat cuts (e.g., fillet, sirloin, breast, etc.) and understand which part of the meat is most suitable for specific dishes; * Meat quality — knowledge of different types of meat (beef, pork, poultry, etc.) and how to assess their quality; * Knife handling — ability to handle various types of knives, such as boning knives, chef’s knives, and saw knives, and maintain sharp blades; * Cutting techniques — ability to cut meat into cubes, strips, steaks, and other shapes according to customer needs or recipe requirements; * Safe handling — adherence to strict hygiene practices to prevent contamination and ensure food safety; * Storage — knowledge of proper meat storage, including appropriate temperature and preservation conditions; * Equipment — proper use of tools: correct operation of meat grinders, bone saws, and cutters; * Maintenance — care and necessary maintenance of equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition; * Communication — ability to explain to customers the different cuts and types of meat, offering recommendations based on their preferences; * Culinary knowledge — recipes and preparations — solid understanding of how different meat cuts are prepared and cooked, helping suggest the best cooking method for each cut. * Handling and preparation of merchandise (traditional and special meat cuts, packaging, labeling) for sale in self-service areas, service counters, or designated display areas, ensuring high-quality presentation in compliance with standards and procedures; * Direct customer service, providing portioning, weighing, and delivery of merchandise while adhering to company procedures; * Daily monitoring of product expiration dates and quality at service and self-service counters, preventing products with compromised quality or expired dates from remaining in sales or storage areas; * Restocking merchandise in sales areas, ensuring the full product range (variety) is available to customers according to the sector’s defined layout; * Maintenance/cleaning of sector utensils, equipment, and physical facilities, complying with sanitary surveillance standards, as well as cleaning of sales and storage areas to keep them clean and organized; * Assisting with receipt of sector merchandise, respecting receipt and storage regulations as required; * Preparing the sector for store opening and closing — restocking, pricing, display, and storage of merchandise — aiming for high-quality presentation while maintaining full compliance with standards and procedures; * Pricing all displayed merchandise for sale, ensuring correct pricing for customers and accurate expiration dates, daily checking for missing prices on displayed items and applying pricing accordingly. 251224020249584826
