This professional will support business demands to contribute to operational efficiency within the segment by working closely with leaders across various departments, providing technical guidance and expertise in all aspects of data management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analysis solutions;
* Analyze financial, operational, and commercial performance indicators (KPIs);
* Create, maintain, and manage databases; conduct studies; and guide operational trends through performance measurement and comparative analysis to support decision-making;
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity;
* Interpret data, cross-reference information, analyze results using statistical techniques, and deliver progress reports;
* Monitor KPIs and other performance metrics managed by the department, identifying potential deviations across units and/or profit centers while comparing actual vs. projected/expected outcomes (e.g., costs, revenue, consumption);
* Identify opportunities and propose data-driven solutions to improve performance;
* Participate in departmental projects and initiatives related to systems and data;
* Ensure departmental data governance, implement procedures, and establish data collection and analysis governance in alignment with guidelines from Brazil and other company regions;
* Collaborate with global teams, as defined, to exchange information and best practices;
* Prepare departmental reports, assessments, and presentations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
* Experience in business information gathering and analysis, data structure integration and optimization;
* Knowledge of financial analysis and structured data;
* Familiarity with statistics and experience using statistical software packages for dataset analysis (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS) is desirable;
* Familiarity with CRUD concepts (Create, Read, Update, Delete) is desirable;
* Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL), programming (e.g., XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks), Power BI, Tableau, BPM, etc. is desirable;
* Experience in data analysis or information systems within multinational corporations—including food service—is considered a plus;
* Intermediate-level English proficiency is considered a plus;
* Must reside in Porto Alegre/RS, São Paulo/SP, or nearby regions.
