Join us, perform the best work of your career, and make a profound social impact as a **Senior Messaging Platform Engineer** on our **Cloud Platform Services** team in **Eldorado do Sul**. **What You Will Achieve:** The **Messaging Platform Engineer** provides middleware messaging engineering, system administration, and support for RabbitMQ and Kafka environments — both new and existing — including related tasks such as: software installation, patch application, upgrades, object definition, configuration, security, monitoring and tuning, disaster recovery planning and execution, as well as backup and restoration processes. You will independently monitor and operate cloud and legacy applications daily. Scripting automation development is required, along with handling critical operational tasks and on-demand requests. **You Will:** * Design, build, and support large-scale enterprise distributed messaging platforms. * Identify and implement best practices to ensure platform high availability (business continuity, disaster recovery, backup/restoration, repartitioning, zero-downtime upgrades). * Implement and reinforce security practices, and provide operational support for platform-related issues to development teams. * Address performance and scalability challenges arising from Kafka producers and consumers, leading capacity planning and proactive monitoring initiatives. * Work within a global agile team and serve as a mentor to junior members. **Take the First Step Toward Your Dream Career** Every person on our team brings something unique. Here’s what we’re looking for in this role: **Essential Requirements** * Advanced/Fluent English for collaboration within a global team. * Proven track record with Kafka messaging middleware, application platform management, and distributed architecture/solutions, including administration, management, and tuning in large-scale enterprise environments. * Expertise in monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Elastic Search, with strong knowledge in Kafka diagnostics, troubleshooting, and optimization. * Expertise in RabbitMQ and/or other messaging platforms, plus advanced skills to identify and resolve issues in complex, highly critical environments. * Demonstrated ability to work analytically and systematically, supporting distributed messaging platforms and conducting large-scale debugging processes. **Desired Qualifications** * Proven expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker containers. * Experience with Python, Ansible, and/or other programming languages. **This Is Our Story.
