**Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** Availability to work Monday through Friday (regular) and alternate Saturdays **Level:** Not Specified **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT **ABOUT THE POSITION:** We are seeking a Receptionist to join the team at the **Lorenzoni Veterinary Hospital**, a reference in emergency veterinary care and general practice in Porto Alegre. You will be the first point of contact for pet guardians and their companion animals, responsible for welcoming, scheduling, managing patient flow, and providing administrative support in a dynamic environment where emergencies occur frequently and client care is essential. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Reception and empathetic, professional welcoming of pet guardians and animals * Precise appointment management (target: 99.5% accuracy) * Triage of emergencies and prioritization of patient care * Administrative support: document control, filing, correspondence * Communication with clinical staff regarding patient needs * Maintenance of a clean, organized, and welcoming environment * Telephone and WhatsApp communication * Cash handling/receipts management (when required) **And other routine duties pertinent to the reception area of a veterinary clinic.** **Requirements:** **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS** * Completed high school education * Prior experience in customer service (minimum 6 months) * Communication skills * Interpersonal skills/empathy * Ability to work under pressure and during emergencies (veterinary hospital setting) * Availability for the following schedule: Mon–Fri 10:00–20:00 (with 2-hour break) + alternate Saturdays 8:00–18:00 (with 1-hour break) * Residency near the workplace (Menino Deus, Porto Alegre) is a plus **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience in veterinary clinics or hospitals * Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems * Proactivity and interest in professional growth **Schedule:** The candidate must be available to work: * Monday through Friday, 10:00–20:00, with a 2-hour break * Alternate Saturdays – 8:00–18:00, with a 1-hour break **Employment Terms:** * CLT employment contract – 44 hours/week * Salary: R$ 2.100,00 * Hazardous duty allowance: R$ 324,20 * Transportation voucher * Opportunities for career advancement within the company **Benefits:** Transportation voucher
