Collaborate with the data team's structure and processes **We seek a professional to act as a partner of Brivia.** A Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistics and machine learning who supports the company's growth, proposes success KPIs, and monitors their evolution within the CSR Reimbursement and Legal areas. Build models capable of identifying patterns, predicting behaviors, and clustering portfolios for more accurate strategies—always promoting a data-driven culture and evidence-based decision-making. Brivia\_Group wants to leverage your talent to further strengthen our digital transformation ecosystem! **Key Responsibilities:** * Participate in defining and building departmental goals and KPIs, proposing indicators aligned with business needs; * Conduct exploratory data analyses and share key insights with the team; * Apply data science techniques—statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling—to solve complex business problems with measurable, results-oriented outcomes; * Build classification, regression, and clustering models to support strategic and operational decisions; * Develop analytical routines and operational and financial reports for executive leadership, clients, and internal management; * Demonstrate high capability in analyzing and manipulating databases, data lakes, and data warehouses; * Collaborate with the data team’s structure and processes to drive company growth; * Seek improvements in Business Intelligence and Big Data processes, ensuring adoption of best practices and updating internal procedures; * Support defining and designing data architecture; * Identify patterns and engineer new features (feature engineering) from existing data; * Act as a technical expert in Data and Analytics, serving as a reference for business units; * Deliver executive presentations showcasing insights and results derived from predictive models. Qualifications: **Academic Background:** * Completed or ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with a strong quantitative foundation. **Technical Requirements:** * Programming: Proficiency in Python or R. * Data: Advanced experience with SQL and database manipulation (Data Lakes/Warehouses). * Modeling: Solid knowledge of Machine Learning (Classification, Regression, Clustering) and Statistics. * Visualization: Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker). * Architecture: Familiarity with data architecture and Big Data concepts. * KPIs: Ability to translate business needs into measurable indicators and targets. * Feature Engineering: Skill in creating variables to optimize models. * Storytelling: Ability to translate technical data into executive-level presentations. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Experience in technical leadership or mentoring teams. ### **Additional Information:** * Contract type: PJ (active CNPJ required). * Personal equipment required. * **Availability for in-person meetings in Porto Alegre/RS.** Join a dynamic ecosystem and be part of the market revolution!
