* Prepare culture media and specialized reagents for the isolation and growth of phytopathogenic bacteria. * Collect and prepare plant material samples for bacteriological analyses. * Cultivate and maintain pure cultures of bacterial pathogens for reference purposes. * Assist in identifying morphological and biochemical characteristics for accurate bacterial identification. * Assist in conducting pathogenicity tests on host plants. * Carefully record, document, and analyze test and procedure results. * Adhere to quality and safety standards in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. * Assist in cleaning laboratory equipment as well as in monitoring maintenance and calibration of equipment. * Monitor temperatures of equipment and environments. * Assist in inventory control within the department
