IT infrastructure incident support We are looking for a Data Center Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our systems by monitoring infrastructure, performing operational procedures, and contributing to maintaining a secure and highly available environment. If you are proactive, passionate about technology, and seek a challenging environment, join our team and help us drive innovation. **Responsibilities and Duties** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to defined operational guidelines, including but not limited to: Perform remote hands tasks for Data Center customers. Interact with the NOC (Network Operations Center), customers, and vendors to fulfill any task related to planned or unplanned events. Process and manage service testing and supplier acceptance procedures. Support troubleshooting of IT connectivity and equipment issues. Responsible for responding to customer calls and working with them to understand technical problems and requests. Respond to incoming calls regarding customer concerns and deliver excellent customer service. Keep customer requests updated in the ticketing system. Make outbound calls to provide feedback to customers. Perform Level 1 operations on Data Center infrastructure, execute basic commands, and operate IT equipment. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 verification and support for IT infrastructure incidents (servers, communication equipment, racks, cabling, electrical equipment). Maintain Data Center facility documentation in accordance with Tecto-established procedures. Update documentation related to equipment and structured cabling. Supervise work in the white space and oversee third-party contractors. Generate device inventory reports. Perform visual inspections to support problem resolution. Check equipment status and visual indicators. Press a button or change the position of an externally accessible switch. Move or install cables. Attach, remove, or verify device or cabling identification labels. Replace removable media (tapes, CDs, DVDs, etc.). Manage cabling and support troubleshooting. Maintain up-to-date layout records of installed equipment in the Data Center. Perform periodic status checks of Data Center devices. Supervise Data Center electrical, mechanical, and security infrastructure. Record data in monitoring tools. Report and respond to infrastructure-related incidents and escalate them timely and appropriately to respective maintenance vendors or manufacturers. Create corresponding incidents for critical infrastructure in the assigned management tool. Prepare operational reports indicating all equipment and systems installed in the Data Center, their status, and any new developments. Accompany visits by employees, contractors, and authorized customers entering the Data Center. Request service orders for personnel entering facilities to perform activities per the work authorization procedure. Inspect the physical building structure and report any anomalies to the Infrastructure Coordination team. **Requirements and Qualifications** Technical degree in Computing or Telecommunications. (2\-3 years of experience.) General knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including: fiber optics, TCP\-IP technologies, LAN networks, structured cabling, installation of IT equipment (servers, switches, routers) Proficiency in English — Intermediate or higher — Mandatory. This position involves working conditions consistent with a Data Center environment, with rotating shifts scheduled to support 24/7 operations. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and stress. Candidates must demonstrate confidence when interacting with customers. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to effectively document service interruptions and activities performed to restore services. Capable of climbing stairs and lifting loads not exceeding 22 KG. Teamwork. Problem-solving attitude aligned with customer and organizational requirements. Proactive attitude.
