Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineer to build, evolve, and maintain a data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), developing scalable data pipelines. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven solutions . **Responsibilities and Duties** * Build, evolve, and maintain the data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP); * Develop scalable data pipelines (batch and/or streaming), ensuring reliability and performance; * Design and evolve analytical data models to support business needs; * Handle data from ingestion through to availability for consumption (Analytics, Product, and Technology); * Actively participate in architecture decisions and ecosystem evolution of the data platform; * Ensure engineering best practices: version control, testing, CI/CD, observability, and data governance; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven solutions and deliver business value. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience in data engineering and production data pipelines; * Proficiency in SQL and analytical data modeling; * Experience with Python for data processing; * Experience with GCP cloud services; * Knowledge of BigQuery optimization and performance tuning; * Experience with pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow); * Familiarity with best practices: version control, testing, and CI/CD applied to data. * Preferred: Residency in Rio de Janeiro for occasional in-person meetings.
