Summary: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications for trucks, integrating third-party APIs and ensuring performance and quality through clean, efficient code and knowledge sharing. Highlights: 1. Develop Android applications for automotive and mobile platforms 2. Integrate third-party APIs to enhance app functionality 3. Share knowledge and best practices within the team Requirements: * Engineering degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or similar; * A solid technical foundation in Software development in general, and Android in particular, is a good start, and a passion for collaboration will be the next building block; * Android and/or technology trends, applied innovation using a combination of open platforms (SDKs/SOA), service design, continuous improvement culture or app architecture and performance; * Embedded systems – Good understanding for basic HW components (ECU’s, sensors, actuators and wiring harnesses and SW design (basic SW architecture, communication protocols, diagnostics); * Fluent proficiency level of English, both written and spoken; * Experience with Kotlin and React\-native (optional); * International and multi\-cultural experience with a global organization is a plus; * Experience with JIRA, Confluence, power BI and requirement tools is a plus. Activities: * Designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications (services), both on our Android Automotive platform as well as for Android for mobiles and tablets – for customers with trucks in their fleets; * Create quick prototypes to demo ideas, or to validate options with/for our customers; * Integrate third\-party APIs and services to enhance app/service functionality; * Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications, by developing clean, maintainable, and efficient code; * To share knowledge in the team, e.g. by performing code reviews, and to maintain code quality and sharing best practices and know\-how to continuously improve the architecture and development.
