Job Summary: Mechanical/mechatronics engineering professional responsible for sizing, design, and optimization of systems, providing technical support and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Opportunity to contribute to cost reduction initiatives and localization of projects. * Prepare and develop component and system sizing calculations using engineering methods, techniques, and tools to validate and optimize technical solutions for economic efficiency. * Participate in the development of mechanical diagrams/projects and specification of respective components. * Generate specifications for equivalent domestic and imported components, as well as material lists. * Provide technical support to Applications, Sales, Customer Service, Installations, Technical Assistance, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement departments; supplier development; and fulfillment of customers' technical requirements. * Participate in cost reduction initiatives, process improvements, project enhancements, and development of alternatives within the supply chain. * Participate in the localization of equipment and system projects from other JBT Marel units. * Guide the assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems/assemblies. * Participate in the commissioning of Mechanical Systems and provide technical development and support to electrical or mechanical component suppliers, with a focus on quality and cost. **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:** ---------------------------- * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics * Minimum 4 years of proven experience in the field * Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications * Experience with 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, or Creo) for creating manufacturing mechanical drawings based on technical specifications * Knowledge of reading and interpreting equipment and system flowcharts * Willingness to travel occasionally to customers or other JBT Marel units (within Brazil or abroad) * **Proficient in English – submit resume in English** **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Knowledge of mechanical system manufacturing processes * Familiarity with JBT Marel products (features and functions) * Knowledge of reading and interpreting industrial process flowcharts * Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Division 1 * Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
