Role as a technical expert in AWS and Azure We are expanding our technology team and looking for a **Cloud Computing Specialist** to support the evolution of CSU's cloud architecture and governance. This professional will play a strategic role in **defining and evolving cloud architecture**, serving as the **technical focal point between systems teams, project teams, and vendors responsible for cloud infrastructure support**. The position focuses on ensuring cloud environments support critical systems with **high availability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency**, aligning architecture, operations, and industry best practices. If you enjoy working in **complex environments, solution architecture, and technological evolution**, this opportunity is for you. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Serve as the organization's **technical specialist in Cloud Computing (AWS and Azure)** * Define and evolve **cloud environment architecture**, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security * Support **systems and project teams** in designing appropriate architectures for cloud deployment * Act as the **technical focal point between internal teams and cloud infrastructure support vendors** * Ensure compliance with **cloud architecture, governance, and security best practices** * Evaluate and guide appropriate use of **cloud services (compute, storage, network, database, serverless)** * Support initiatives for **modernization and migration of workloads to the cloud** * Participate in defining **cloud architecture standards and reference frameworks** * Drive **cloud environment cost optimization and operational efficiency** * Support critical incident management and continuous evolution of the cloud platform *(This role primarily focuses on architecture and technological evolution, with occasional involvement in support and troubleshooting activities as needed.)* **Requirements and Qualifications** ### **Education** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields. ### **Technical Experience** * Solid experience with **Cloud Computing (AWS and/or Azure)** * Experience with **cloud solution architecture** * Experience with **multi-cloud or hybrid environments** * Knowledge of **cloud networking architecture (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancing)** * Experience with **managed cloud storage and database services** * Experience with **containers and orchestration (ECS, EKS, AKS, or Kubernetes)** * Experience with **Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, CDN, and distributed services** * Knowledge of **serverless architecture** * Experience with **cloud security (WAF, IAM, access policies)** * Experience with **cloud cost management and governance (FinOps)** * Knowledge of **Linux and Windows operating systems** ### **Certifications** Cloud certifications are desirable, such as: * AWS Certified Solutions Architect * AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner * Microsoft Azure Administrator * Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert **Preferred Qualifications** ================ * Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM)** * Experience with **CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)** * Experience with **observability and monitoring** (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack) * Experience with **web servers (IIS, Apache, NGINX)** * Experience with **licensing governance and compliance (SAM)** **Behavioral Skills** =============================== * Analytical profile with strong problem-solving orientation * Ability to **facilitate technical alignment across different areas** * Strong communication skills with technical teams and vendors * Proactivity and technical accountability * Organization and autonomy in managing tasks * Ability to operate in **critical, high-availability environments** **Additional Information** CLT employment contract with competitive benefits. **EXPLORE OUR OPPORTUNITIES** **What CSU Digital Does** We are a team of over 4,000 people building innovative, technology-driven solutions for payment methods, customer experience, and customer loyalty and incentive programs.
