Job Summary: Serving patrons, conducting user studies, technical processing, collection circulation, and designing activities to promote reading and cultural diversity in a school library. Developing strategies to promote reading **Description and Responsibilities:** **Work Schedule:** 30 hours per week **Level:** Not Specified **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT Patron service, user studies, technical processing, collection circulation, and designing, planning, and implementing activities to promote reading and cultural diversity in the school library of the unit. **Working Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM.** Interested? Then read the conditions and requirements and apply! **Applications accepted until April 27, 2026.** **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Library Science; * Experience as a librarian or intern in a school library; * Professional registration with the Regional Council of Library Science (CRB) – 8th Region **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU** * Strategies to promote reading among the school unit’s child and adolescent patrons. * Strategies for serving the school unit’s child and adolescent patrons. * Specific technical actions for information handling at the school unit. * Automated collection management systems for organizing information at the school unit. * Management of information services to support patron service at the school unit. * Proficiency in reading and writing across various text genres. * Structure of reports and reviews for frequent preparation. * Legislation relevant to the field of practice. * Cultural activities at the school unit. * Microsoft Office suite and internet proficiency. **ATTENTION!
