**Key Duties and Responsibilities** * **Plan and execute the operational sequence of injection molding machines, performing full set-ups in accordance with the production plan and established technical instructions.** * **Operate and regulate horizontal injection molding machines, adjusting mold closing, opening, ejection, temperatures, pressure levels, speed, cycle time, decompression dosing, backpressure, and other critical process parameters.** * **Carry out mold changeovers and preparation, ensuring correct installation, clamping, cooling, and alignment, thereby safeguarding the integrity of molds used in the production of cosmetic cases, pallets, spatulas, applicators, and other cosmetic components.** * **Evaluate and adjust the injection process, identifying machines or molds requiring correction, technical intervention, or optimization.** * **Conduct tests and complete operational records, Setup Cards, checklists, and other mandatory documentation, recording parameters, incidents, and results per internal standards.** * **Identify, analyze, and correct typical aesthetic defects, such as flash, sink marks, short shots, discoloration, visible gate marks, warpage, and weld lines.** * **Continuously monitor process stability, detect anomalies, implement corrective actions, or escalate to support departments when necessary.** * **Remove, store, and return molds following organizational, addressing, and safety standards.** * **Support basic preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and peripherals.** * **Conduct training sessions and guide operators, ensuring proper execution of tasks and dissemination of best injection practices.** * **Halt production when required—e.g., upon identification of risks, critical defects, or operational deviations compromising quality or safety.** * **Collaborate with Quality, Tooling, Engineering, and Production Planning & Control (PCP) teams to drive process improvements, waste reduction, and efficiency gains.** * **Comply with and promote safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards.** **Requirements** * **Completed High School education.** * **Technical Course in Plastics (Mandatory).** * **Proven experience in thermoplastic injection molding, preferably with products from the cosmetics industry or high-surface-finish applications.** * **Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.** * **Proficiency in setup procedures, fine-tuning, and defect analysis.** * **Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).** * **Experience with applicable occupational safety regulations (NRs).** Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:00 PM; Friday, 12:00 PM–9:00 PM. \- 1-hour dinner break, 15-minute afternoon coffee break, and 15-minute workplace gymnastics session on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.
