Transport patients between units and from units to internal examination areas, complying with the specific requirements for each case—such as using appropriate PPE for isolated patients and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and carry out transportation—while maintaining functional intravenous infusion support and other stretcher-mounted devices. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of stretchers and report to nurses any need for repair of stretchers or auxiliary transportation equipment; * Be familiar with routines and operating hours of imaging diagnostic departments and other examination departments within the institution; * Understand specific PPE requirements for isolated patients; * Assist in planning and organizing transportation for each patient; * Keep stretcher side rails raised during patient transport; * Guarantee patient identification safety by confirming full name and date of birth before initiating transport; * Return stretchers or wheelchairs to their originating department after completing transport; * Before initiating transport, verify that the patient is correctly and safely positioned; * Perform other duties pertinent to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Preferably currently enrolled in a nursing technician or nursing assistant program; * Prior knowledge/experience in the field is an advantage. **Additional Information** From 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM **SPDM** — Sociedade Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina (São Paulo Society for the Development of Medicine) is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility—respectively by Decrees No. 57.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8.911, dated 07/30/1970.
