Document verification and discount posting. ### **About the Position** We are seeking a **Financial Assistant I** to work in the finance department of a transportation company located in Santo André. The professional will be responsible for supporting financial settlement processes, value validation, document verification, and discount posting, ensuring accuracy and compliance of operations. ### **Job Mission** Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial settlement processes, value validation, document verification, and discount posting, guaranteeing efficient financial operation control and contributing to the carrier's financial health. ### **Main Responsibilities** * **Settlement Closing:** Assist in performing daily and monthly financial settlement closings, reconciling received and paid amounts against internal records to ensure all transactions are reconciled without discrepancies. * **Value Validation:** Assist in validating freight charges, commissions, and other operational costs by comparing them with rate tables, contracts, and prior authorizations to ensure payments and billing are correct before final posting. * **Document Verification:** Assist in verifying invoices, delivery receipts, payment vouchers, and transportation documents, checking data such as CNPJ, amounts, deadlines, and signatures to ensure document integrity and prevent rejections or rework. * **Discount Posting:** Record contractual, commercial, or damage-related discounts in financial systems, applying appropriate rules and justifications to accurately reflect payable or receivable amounts. * **Pre-closing Monitoring of Third-party Costs:** Monitor and analyze third-party (contracted external parties) costs and expenses in advance, validating spreadsheets and documents prior to closing to avoid inconsistencies and ensure timely payments. ### **Requirements (Technical Competencies)** **Education:** * Completed High School (mandatory) * Preferred: Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields **Technical Knowledge:** * Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in **Excel** (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional functions, etc.) * Experience with **ERP or financial systems** (preferred: **ESL** system) * Knowledge of **financial settlement** and reconciliation processes **Required Practical Experience:** * Proven experience in **financial routines** * Experience with **issuing and verifying invoices** Experience in **discount posting** and **value validation** (freight charges, commissions, operational costs) — preferred ### **Benefits:** ️ **Meal Voucher:** BRL 33.48 per day (we have an on-site cafeteria) **Food Allowance:** BRL 324.54 **Health Insurance (Biovida):** BRL 71.42 **Dental Insurance:** Free of charge **Commuter Benefit (VT) or Fuel Allowance** **Profit Sharing (PLR):** 40% of base salary (first installment in September, second in March) * **Working Hours**\- 08:00 AM to 5:48 PM (Monday to Friday) Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education) * Health Insurance * Night Shift Allowance: BRL 51.00 * PLR: 1.5% of net salary after 1 month * Dinner Voucher: BRL 36.70/day (each) * Fuel Allowance or Commuter Benefit (VT) * Dental Insurance (Bradesco) * VA: BRL 295.00 VR * Overtime Pay
