Assist the cook in basic cooking **Main Responsibilities** * Perform food pre-preparation: wash, peel, cut, chop, and organize ingredients before operations begin. * Ensure continuous cleaning and sanitization of work areas, utensils, equipment, and countertops, following food safety standards. * Conduct general kitchen cleaning at the end of each shift. * Assist in food handling, portioning, and storage, respecting expiration dates and minimizing waste. * Support the cook or chef in basic food cooking, such as grilling, baking, or frying, according to instructions and recipes. * Organize and manage inventory, keeping pantries and refrigerators orderly. * Strictly adhere to established hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
