Work with various BI tools and data modeling We are seeking a BI Analyst to join the Commercial team at Firesensor. For this role, it is essential to have experience building the BI department from scratch, including developing ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions and dashboards, as well as experience with Power BI. We seek a candidate with excellent communication skills and proactivity. Essentially, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company has reliable information to make smarter decisions. **BI Analyst responsibilities include:** * Connect diverse data sources (ERP, CRM, spreadsheets, databases, APIs); * Perform ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) using tools such as Power BI, Pentaho, SSIS, Talend, etc.; * Ensure data quality, standardization, and consistency; * Create relational or multidimensional models (star schema, snowflake); * Optimize tables and relationships to ensure good performance; * Work with concepts of data warehouse, data lake, and data mart; * Identify relevant business patterns, trends, and insights; * Apply basic statistics and comparative analyses (year-over-year, month-over-month, etc.); * Create intuitive and interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik); * Develop managerial and operational reports; * Ensure clear visualizations for decision-making; * Monitor ETL job performance and resolve failures; * Implement version control and document solutions; * Maintain dashboards updated with reliable data; * Understand managers’ and teams’ requirements; * Translate business problems into technical requirements; * Suggest relevant KPIs, indicators, and metrics; * Ensure sensitive data complies with internal policies and LGPD; * Establish access rules and controls; * Create automated update routines (scheduling); * Eliminate manual tasks through scripts (SQL, Python, DAX); * Improve query and dashboard performance. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, or Accounting (Mandatory); * Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) (Mandatory); * Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Extract, Transform, Load) (Power BI, Pentaho, SSIS, Talend) (Mandatory); * Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake) (Mandatory); * Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and data mart concepts (Mandatory); * Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) (Mandatory); * Proficiency in scripting languages (SQL, Python, DAX) (Mandatory); * Knowledge of data governance (LGPD) (Mandatory); * Analytical ability to identify patterns and trends (Mandatory); * Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements (Mandatory); * Proactivity in suggesting indicators and metrics (Mandatory); * Attention to data quality and consistency (Mandatory); * Focus on clear visualizations for decision-making (Mandatory). **Compensation and Benefits:** * Competitive market-based compensation, to be discussed during the selection process. **Additional Information:** * **Work Model:** On-site (Rua Silva Bueno, 599 Ipiranga\-SP) * **Contract Type:** PJ (Individual Entrepreneur) * **Working Conditions:** Fixed schedule * **Primary Location:** Rua Silva Bueno, 599 Ipiranga\-SP Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
