Responsibilities Responsible for packing customers’ purchased products quickly and with quality, keeping the work area clean and organized, and always prioritizing excellent customer service and courtesy. Tasks to be performed Pack and organize products purchased by customers; Assist customers in transporting their purchased products; Restock shopping bags, retrieving them from inventory and notifying when stock is low; Locate or process product exchanges as requested; Sort and organize products to fulfill orders; Keep carts, baskets, containers, and drums clean and organized; Place carts outside the store (if at store opening); Bring carts inside the store (if at store closing); Remove carts and baskets located in front of checkout counters; Return unsold merchandise from checkout counters to shelves; Inspect and verify quantity and integrity of containers brought by customers; Check whether any purchases remain undelivered and assess the need to store them in a cold room; Sweep the store’s external courtyard; Collect trash from external trash bins; Collect carts from the courtyard; Distribute and retrieve signage (cones and chains); Assist customers in loading merchandise into their vehicles upon request; Be available to perform other tasks as needed.
