Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and helpful Junior Programmer to work on programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirements gathering and system analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs 2. System development with a focus on geotechnologies 3. Opportunity to periodically acquire new knowledge Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registers (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and occupation, and others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are looking for a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses performed by systems analysts as supporting inputs. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and use of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server tools; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, eager to periodically acquire new knowledge.
