Job Summary: A professional responsible for verification, preparation, and processing of biological samples, operation of laboratory equipment, and basic analysis, with a focus on continuous improvement and patient safety. Assisting in the collection of biological material and maintenance of equipment **Main Responsibilities:** * Verification, preparation, and processing of biological samples for laboratory analyses; * Operation of laboratory equipment, including centrifugation, automated analyses, and rapid tests; * Basic sample analysis (e.g., urinary sediment) and support for microbiology tests; * Performing quality controls, temperature monitoring, reagent management, and traceability of supplies; * Daily equipment maintenance and organization of the technical area; * Preparation, dispatch, storage, and disposal of biological samples according to regulations; * Assistance in biological material collection, when required. **Institutional Responsibilities:** * Focus on continuous process improvement and patient safety; * Proper use of resources and safeguarding institutional assets; * Adherence to customer service excellence guidelines; * Compliance with the Code of Ethics, Employee Handbook, and institutional policies; * Execution of other duties related to the position, as directed by leadership.
