The **Superintendence of Innovation and Technology of the National SENAI Department** is responsible for strategic planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives related to SENAI’s technology and innovation businesses. Its objective is to promote stable growth and continuous improvement of SENAI’s impact on industry and society. It oversees the following initiatives: **SENAI Innovation Institutes Network (ISI Network)** was established to conduct research, development, and innovation (R,D&I). Comprising 28 institutes, this network operates multidisciplinarily—both internally and in partnership with academia—across the entire national territory. Since its creation in 2012, over BRL 2 billion has been mobilized across 2,950 R,D&I projects. The network employs over 1,250 professionals, approximately 49% of whom hold master’s or doctoral degrees. http://institutos.senai.br/ **SENAI Technology Institutes Network (IST Network)** consists of 59 institutes that promote product improvement and increased productivity and efficiency in industrial processes through consulting services, metrological services, and technological services. The SENAI Technology Institutes adopt a sector-specific industrial approach, operating in 17 states within regions of high industrial density, and employ over 1,200 professionals. https://institutostecnologia.senai.br/ **Innovation for Industry Platform** aims to finance the development of innovative solutions for the Brazilian industry to enhance industrial productivity and competitiveness. Over 1,300 innovative projects have been supported, with investments exceeding BRL 950 million. http://plataformainovacao.com.br/. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support national management of the SENAI Innovation Institutes Network, **with a focus on research, development, and innovation**; * Plan and manage the strategy and operations of the SENAI Innovation Institutes Network, leading the modeling, execution, and dissemination of national guidelines; * Promote internal and external collaboration mechanisms—within the SENAI Innovation Institutes Network and across innovation ecosystems—to address major technological challenges facing industry and transform applied knowledge into economic value. * Represent SENAI and the Industrial System technically before clients, partners, and scientific/industrial/political forums at national and international levels. * Conduct research, technical studies, and expert opinions; * Define requirements for management systems aimed at monitoring the performance of the SENAI Innovation Institutes Network, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** * Completed undergraduate degree in Exact Sciences, Engineering, or related fields; * Completed master’s degree in innovation, management, technologies, or related fields. **Professional Experience** * Experience managing Research, Development, and Innovation—preferably applied research—including coordination, planning, modeling, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives at Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Institutions (STIIs), companies, and/or industries; * High-complexity projects; * Collaboration and relationship-building with national and international innovation ecosystem stakeholders (industrial companies, industrial associations, startups, STIIs, government agencies, funding entities). **Specific Knowledge** * Advanced Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); * Agile management methodologies and tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Miro, Notion, Jira); * Advanced or fluent English. **[Desirable] Academic Backgrounds, Knowledge, and/or Experience** * Completed doctoral degree in innovation, management, technologies, or related fields; * International academic or professional experience; * Experience with knowledge management methodologies and tools; * Experience in quality management, innovation management, or intellectual property management; * Experience applying venture capital to applied research; * Familiarity with legal instruments and regulatory frameworks governing innovation and technology funding programs. **Additional Information** **Employment Details:** * Indefinite-term employment contract under the Consolidated Labor Laws (CLT). * On-site work at CNI’s office in Brasília/DF. * Working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 40 hours per week, with a flexible hour bank system. **Our Main Benefits:** * Childcare allowance * Allowance for children with disabilities * Health insurance plan (nationwide coverage) * Private pension plan * Dental plan * Life insurance * Meal and/or food vouchers * Transportation vouchers ### **CNI builds the future of industry and work—today.** Imagine **#beingpartof** a nationwide organization whose mission is to transform people’s lives and drive Brazil’s development.
