We are hiring a **Mid-Level Fullstack Developer [Java and Angular]** to join the ed team, with solid experience in the Java ecosystem—working both on maintenance and evolution of established systems and on developing new features using modern technologies. The main challenge of this role involves seamlessly navigating across generations of frameworks (legacy and modern), proposing intelligent refactoring, ensuring integration security, and maintaining delivery integrity through Git-based code versioning. **Hybrid work in Brasília** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and maintain backend applications in Java (Java EE and/or Spring Boot), ensuring performance, security, and code quality. * Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance on legacy AngularJS frontends, with potential migration to modern Angular as project demands arise. * Propose and execute legacy code refactoring, migrating segments to newer Java versions and adopting Clean Code and Design Patterns best practices. * Develop and consume RESTful Web APIs, implementing secure integrations using token-based authorization protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML). * Model and optimize SQL queries for relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle), ensuring data integrity and access performance. * Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit and Mockito), ensuring adequate test coverage and delivery stability. * Version code via Git, following best practices for branching, commits, and conflict resolution in collaborative environments. * Participate in team agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban), contributing to technical refinement, estimation, and code review. **Requirements and Qualifications** What strengthens your candidacy: * Mastery of architectural best practices (Clean Code and Design Patterns). * Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). * Modern Angular (v2+): Proficiency in TypeScript, component lifecycle, Services, RxJS, and state management. **Must-Have:** **Education:** Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Internet Systems, Computer Networks, or related IT fields. **Backend:** Java 8+ (advanced Object-Oriented Programming, Streams API, Lambdas, Optional, Records, Text Blocks); Java EE 6+ or Spring Boot 2+; JPA and Transaction Management; Maven for build and dependency management; ability to read and refactor legacy code. **Frontend:** AngularJS / legacy Angular for maintenance, bug fixes, and understanding of older templates. **Integrations and Security:** Advanced HTTP; creation of RESTful Web APIs; token-based authorization protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML or similar). **Database:** Advanced SQL and solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle). **Version Control:** Git (branching, conflict resolution, commit best practices). **Testing:** JUnit and Mockito. *Soft Skills:* * Analytical problem-solving ability; * Effective communication; * Teamwork; * Adaptability. **Contract Type: PJ (Individual Contractor)** **Bonus** * Profit and Results Sharing Program **(Semesterly PLR)**, reinforcing our commitment to recognizing performance. **Ready to take on this challenge with us?** Apply now and help us build the future with ed
