The main focus is inventory accuracy, team productivity in order picking, and strict adherence to shipping deadlines (SLA). What You’ll Do in Practice Inventory Management and Integrity * Ensure 100% inventory accuracy (physical vs. system), conducting daily rotating stock counts to prevent website sales disruptions. * Guarantee proper product storage, optimizing slotting to streamline picking workflows. * Implement and monitor inventory and loss policies, with special attention to fast-moving and fragile items. Operational Efficiency and Layout * Optimize warehouse layout by designing workflows that reduce team travel time and maximize storage capacity. * Manage balancing across picking and packing lines to prevent bottlenecks during peak sales hours. * Continuously assess ergonomics and item placement (ABC curve) to boost productivity. Shipping and Outbound Logistics * Ensure compliance with carrier and logistics partner pickup cutoff times. * Guarantee packaging meets customer experience (unboxing) and product protection standards. * Coordinate order picking to meet billing requirements and label generation deadlines. People Management and Safety * Lead, train, and motivate the operational team. * Monitor overtime bank, absenteeism, and turnover, keeping staffing levels aligned with commercial demand. * Identify operational risks and ensure use of PPE, fostering a safe work environment. Sustainability and Maintenance * Manage proper disposal of waste (cardboard, plastics, packaging) and perform basic facility and equipment maintenance (data collectors, pallet jacks, printers). * Recover products with damaged packaging to minimize financial loss. You Should Be/Have Experience and Skills: Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader in inventory or logistics. Knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS/ERP). Proficiency in control methodologies (FIFO, FEFO, PVPS). Ability to analyze KPIs and proactively make decisions. Basic/intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills. Academic Background: Completed high school. Technical or undergraduate degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields (Preferred) Advantages: Experience in Distribution Centers or e-commerce operations. Specialized courses in logistics, inventory management, or continuous improvement methodologies. Valid forklift operator certification.
