Experience in road freight transportation A freight transportation and storage company is seeking an Import and Export Assistant in Santos (Alemoa). Maintain contact with clients to confirm orders, perform follow-up, and provide updates on operational progress. Receive, verify, organize, and control documents required for shipments. Perform activities related to DUE clearance and other export documentation routines. Request empty container pickups and monitor stuffing and loading operations. Register and manage records with terminals, warehouses, and other parties involved in the process. Update information in the corporate system and maintain operational control spreadsheets. Monitor scheduling, discharge windows, and other operational deadlines. Forward information and documentation to billing and other internal departments. Handle incidents and complaints, proposing solutions to minimize impact, risk, and cost. Identify opportunities for improvement in operational and systemic processes to enhance efficiency and quality of operations. Previous experience as an International Trade Analyst, Import/Export Coordinator, International Logistics Assistant, or Freight Forwarder may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor’s degree in progress.
