Position: Product Development Engineer You will lead the team responsible for product project development, mold and tooling construction, technical specifications and product documentation, material studies, and definition of production processes. **Responsibilities and duties** **Main responsibilities** * Develop new products according to commercial, creative, and technical briefs. * Knowledge of creating and reviewing **3D models (CAD)**, technical drawings, and physical/virtual prototypes. * Approval of **mold and tooling designs**. * Specify **plastic, metal, electronic, and textile materials** according to application requirements. * Participate in validation tests, certifications, and laboratory testing. * Prepare **BOM (Bill of Materials)** and monitor **engineering costs**. * Coordinate **projects with national and international suppliers and manufacturers**. * Implement continuous improvements in product design, assembly, and performance. * Ensure **complete technical documentation** (technical sheets, product manuals, manufacturing instructions, and other necessary specifications). * Negotiate and manage tool shops during **mold and tooling construction**. * Support **homologation and certification processes INMETRO / ANATEL / others**, when applicable. **Requirements and qualifications** **Technical requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Product Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Production Engineering**. Five years of experience in the field is desirable. * Proficiency with **CAD/3D tools** (SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD). * Experience with **plastic injection, painting, metallization, assembly, and packaging**. * Knowledge of **rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC)**. * Knowledge of **specialized prototyping (Looks Like / Works Like)**. * Familiarity with **project management methodologies (Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban)**. * Knowledge of **industrial costs and value engineering (Value Engineering)**. * Advanced **Excel skills** and other Microsoft Office 365 applications. * Experience in **manufacturing environments or working with external suppliers (Brazil and Asia)**. * English proficiency (reading and communication with suppliers in Brazil and China) is desirable.
