




**DESCRIPTION** --------------- Our logistics teams are transforming how we interact with customers worldwide every day and solving some of the biggest logistical challenges faced not only by Amazon but by the entire industry. Amazon Logistics Brazil is seeking a Logistics Operations Analyst to join the team managing Extra Large (AMXL) operations. This person will serve as the Control Tower for these partner-operated operations. Operations will run seven days per week, including holidays; therefore, Logistics Operations Analysts all work on a 4x3 shift schedule, split between front and back teams. This person will manage and execute tactical routines at external logistics partners’ delivery stations to ensure process performance and compliance. This person will also be the guardian of Amazon’s specific processes and standards for Heavy and Bulky product operations. They will work in a highly collaborative environment that feels more like a startup than a large corporation. The mindset is that no idea is a bad idea—and the best ideas are those that should be tested and experimented with. This person must thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. Some responsibilities may be performed virtually, as well as on-site audits/visits to external logistics partners to act as guardian of node-standard SOPs. Key job responsibilities * Monitor daily operational efficiency of logistics partners, suggest and implement improvements; * Guide and lead action plans with partners to achieve operational excellence; * Create and track operational metrics with logistics partners; * Analyze data from multiple sources and identify relevant trends to enable rapid, business-critical decisions; * Develop practical and simple solutions to complex problems; * Serve as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders, keeping in mind objectives, constraints, compliance, and information privacy; * Deeply investigate root causes of operational issues. A day in the life Your day is dedicated to monitoring the Control Tower and executing daily routines at the node for Heavy/Bulky product deliveries. You are the guardian of AMXL SOPs—running system queries, managing driver check-ins, and opening support tickets. You coordinate with the team to resolve operational challenges to delight Amazon customers. Your primary contact is the AMXL partner, whose performance you directly improve through consolidated action plans. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or related fields. * Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros). * Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Availability to travel up to 25% of the time. * Basic English proficiency. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Advanced English proficiency. * SQL and other programming languages. * Experience in logistics and/or transportation of bulky and heavy items.
